450 D Flash help

I been taking pictures of some night rallying

I have a jessops flash gun on my canon and i think its not to good for what i need,

What advice could you give if i wanted to say spend £200 for example??

someone who does it as a busines says they use a Metz Flash gun (£600)

What is it about the Jessops flash that is not good?

£200 and Canon camera then simple answer = Canon Speedlite 430EX II

You'll then know it will work 100% with full ETTL exposure

the ppictures have not come out well - the light was not enough to see the cars

you compair it to the chap with the expensive flash showed the difference.

Plus it was not working from time to time - dam thing
