41 reasons not to date a photographer

#6 & #33, oh, so true! Pretty much the only photography related gift I've received (other than monetary contributions towards kit I want/need) that I use is the joke L mug and I intend to get creative with that and convert it to Nikon F mount with a pinhole in the cap! I'm much better with luggage these days though - TBH, we've been going to the same place for many years and I have photos of all the landmarks in most conditions that we're likely to meet while we're there, so there's little point now in taking the full SLR kit - a couple of decent compacts can do all I need of a camera there. Of course, if we visit in Winter, I'll probably want to try to capture the storms and I reckon I'll need the SLR etc to do them real justice, although I have a good waterproof CSC now which could probably do the job!
 
Good thing I got myself a wife before taking up photography
