40D Xmas prices?

Hope this is in the right place...

Anyway, I'm on the cusp of upgrading from 350D to 40D to the point I have the cash ready in my sweaty little mitt.

D'you think the prices will drop before xmas as Canon push the 50D, or am I safe to give in to my impatience right now?

I too was thinking the same thing, been looking at Ebay prices for a second hand body, and they have come down a lot
