40D remote release producers

I was wondering if anybody could recommend a good quality remote release for the 40D / 50D. There are so many suppliers over there ranging from next to nothing to about £60.00 (which I'd rather not pay).

Any recommendations in terms of brands would be greatly appreciated. The same goes for the battery too, as I'm planning to buy a couple of spares.

Have the following two and both are fine and not expensive for my 40D. Faced same dilema as it was really exepnsive for a canon version.

I think the one in my link is the newest version. But they are all the same, just differ in brands.

Bottom line is they are cheap and they work.

If you go for wireless get the Phottix Cleon... it fits to your hot shoe and doesnt just hang around!
