40D grip warranty query [BG-E2N]?

Came along the box an international warranty card but not duly filled in as the grip was bought from Amazon.

Is the warranty still availabe/valid? :thinking::gag:
 
If you bought it in the UK and have the receipt it is the retailers responsibility for the 1st 12 months. It shouldn't make any difference if you bought it online or not. That said, was it actually an amazon purchase or an amazon referral?

Actually bought off [BNIB] from another TPFer here and just fitted it to the body and noticed the waranty card hence thought of dropping a line athough I have not acquired the original receipt from the seller. Just curious about the warranty on the item. :thinking::thinking:
