40D - Focusing in Live View - Help please...

Mine doesn't do it any more, so I must of changed one of the custom settings.

Can somebody let me know which custom function it is please...

I have that one set correctly, so I'm wondering if it's something to do with how the AF-ON button is configured.....

[Edit - I've now managed to get it working, but on the AF Lock (*) button.......]

OK, so I'm in C.FnIV - 1 Operation others Shutter button/AF-ON button.

Set to 0, the AF-ON button meters but doesn't focus in std or live view
Set to 1, As above, but the AE lock (*) button will focus in live view....

You've swapped the Af-On and * buttons using cfn IV-2

Are you using a grip? That's the normal reason for the swap...

Yep, I'm using the grip.. And I'm happy that it works so that'll do nicely...
