been looking at this lens,which Ian said he would sell for £919 outside of ebay,thinking hard,begging the wife.:naughty::love::D

A canon 400L lens would cost over 5 thousand quid.... had to click on the link to see why you hadnt bitten his hand off :(

At first, I thought the OP might have been referring to the f/5.6, which is a bit cheaper than the 2.8. Only a little bit cheaper, though :)

You should be able to get a mint used one for a lot less if you are lucky. I sold one on ebay for £700 + p/p.

acording to camera price buster it can be had from jesslops for £938 with a code. worth a look if nothing else

I have scoured the net looking for a good second hand one but not much luck.:bang::shrug:
