4,425 Camera Collection

I don't think I could cope with a big old wood shooter.

Which is worse, gunky light seals or Dutch Elm disease...

Lol... I now have images of a wooden 'worm hole camera'... and the photographer stood next to it with a tin of wood-worm...

This is the 1/60th shutter... quick little bug this one.
This is the 1/4 shutter.... slow but strady.
This is the 3s shutter... but he's a fit fat; has an aperture of f3.5 no smaller....

:cuckoo:

That's just ridiculous. Sounds like he's only in it for the record too:

"Parekh first gained the record in 2003, with 2,634 antique cameras, and in the decade since he's gained almost another 2,000 models. While he obviously surpassed his own record some time ago, he apparently waited for World Photography Day to unveil his incredible collection."

If he was to use a camera per day, it would take him 12 years to get through them all ...

They may as well be mere ornaments.

yeah but are his pictures any good

I doubt he has time! Once he starts to clean his gear

Imagine the time it took just to place all of them for this shot!? Only for them to clip out the ones in the bottom corners :D

Blimey

I thought I was weird with 47! That includes my digitals (Earliest being a Kodak DC25 which cost then more than an 1100D kit would now!) and all the cameras I have bought plus those family have passed down (Instamatic 126/Pentax110), and my Rangefinders, Meduum Format etc.

One day I might even sell a camera! Given a few away, swapped a 300D and 35mm set for a good laptop last week)!
