These are a lot better, bought two last week, super fast as well, well impressed for mass storage, 2year warranty, they use a hitachi drive

Bought mine from CCL though, £171 for two

Pros: As others have pointed out, these drives are basically just re-branded Hitachi 7200RPM drives. I just did a benchmark on the drive and it has a sequential read speed of 190MB/sec and a sequential write of 138MB/sec! That's insanely fast for a hard drive, I'm totally satisfied! It has a 3 year warranty and I've never really had any problems with Hitachi's internal hard drives, so I'm expecting that this one will be the same.

Which one did you buy? The intenso ones in your aria link above?

Do you have a link to the CCL - I can't find them but I like to buy from them as I can pick up due to being near to my work.

Why do you say are these better than the Seagate ones Neil linked to?

I think the speeds are better, plus 1 yr extra warranty. CCL sold out and they took the link down.

I got them after seeing this thread, they must have sold out of the others and sent me the intensio.

I had a few samsung 2tb f4,s these run cooler and a lot faster, also had a bit of pulsating with the samsungs.
