3G Dongles/Mobile Broadband

I am surprised to hear that Andy, not had a single drop out yet and i send all my files via FTP using the 3 dongle

You’ve got lucky there then. Mine just reset the connection every time. I called Three tech support and they said they didn’t allow FTP access and had no plans to. I switched to Vodafone and it connects first time every time.

Andy, i send shed loads of images by ftp with my 3 dongle and never had a single problem

I guess the term “Three Tech Support” should have alerted me there . Anyway I tried everything to get connection. Vodafone just worked.

Check the coverage maps. We have a Vodaphone £15 payg & it gas been fine so far. Also no time limit on using data
