39mm Step Down Ring

Hi Guys,

I'm trying find a 39mm to 38,37,36,etc step down ring but I'm not having any joy.

I want it to act as a hood for a Fuji XF 27mm pancake. It needs to be low profile (stealthy). The filter ring can move back into the lens body when focusing. I travel a lot (hence the pancake) and often shoot in strong sunlight.

I had the same issue with my Panasonic 20mm f1.7 but used a step down ring for it, which worked fine.
 
Hi Gyles. I saw a pic of the 18mm f2 which had this done so i bought it. I no longer shoot Fooj but i still have the step down ring in the cupboard. I can't remember what the size is but if it is of any use to you then you can have it.

9 times out of 10 they'll make one for you to your specification. You just need to ask.... it's one of the reasons they've been in business since 1967 :)
