39mm Filters

Does anyone know of a good source of used 39mm filters? They seem to be rarer than I expected.

If you can't source 39mm filters, perhaps another option would be to use larger diameter filters that you may have already have with a step up ring filter adapter eg: 39mm to 52mm

Not a bad suggestion at all, but I'm using it on a TLR where a step up ring would block part of the other lens (even a small step up ring).

Ffordes have a couple of pages worth of 39mm but they all seem to be screw fit, I assume you would need a bayonet type?

Thanks Andy. They are for screw fit - I've purchased a bayonet to screw filter adapter ring. The ffordes ones aren't particularly good value though.

Thanks, I have his site bookmarked but I'm not sure why I didn't check it. Those are a bit better. I think I'll bide my time and see if anything comes up in the meantime.
