Daily 365... why not

Liking the mono millenium bridge in particular!

Thank you!

Well, at least you put up a shot and carried on :) Just trying to catch up on all the 365's today & you've got some cracking shots in yours.

Thank you! And exactly what I was thinking, just keep it going :).

I think your being too hard on yourself conor there are some cracking photo's since I last called in, had a day off yesterday :D

Thank you. Well, the next shot I am about to upload is curtesy of the photo editor called "GIMP - I now remember why I hate you"...

This photo is curtesy of the photo editor called "GIMP - I now remember why I hate you". I spent all evening trying to do a composite of 3 different photos describing a meal I cooked today. But GIMP is a piece of SH**!! (You get the idea)

The problem is thus, I moved to a Mac a while back, but my copy of Photoshop elements doesn't install on a mac. So that leaves me in a predicament. I download Hassleblad Phocus (which is not a bad alternative to Lightroom) and GIMP (which is a load of dog poo).

Anyway, out the window goes the composite. In comes an abstract. It'll do, but I'm annoyed I didn't get to do what was in my head :bang:

Are you sure that's not tomato puree;)

Well done for getting something in :D

Well recognised! And thanks. After my struggles with gimp I just stuck something up to be honest

Blimey, you on a diet?:lol::lol:

 Don't worry, it turned into something slightly bigger than this when I was done! But thanks to GIMP the gimped editing tool I could not turn the photo into what I was planning. It was supposed to be a lovely composite of this and fried potatoes turning into a lovely simple Irish / Spanish dish (because I'm not letting the spanish claim fried potatoes with egg...)

Different... like it... how many today are going to be home projects or snow scapes... going to brave the elements later I think!

Thank you. It'll do the trick for now :). I'll have to take a lunch time stroll and at least get a snow shot!

Your photos are awesome try not to stress!..... although i needn't talk it's all i do too lol

Aw thanks! Well hopefully I can pull off some better shots than that before the year's out!

Do I want to ask what that is on the plate  but it works

It turned into something much more appetising... I promise

I was hoping to improve on this shot today, because I know how many snow shots have probably been uploaded and used due to the recent downpour! But alas, this was the best I ended up with. But I don't mind, a bit boring, but I still like it :)

We get snow in London too! by karmagarda, on Flickr

Ok, today is a documentational shot... Not something I'd usually upload. But I'm just very excited about my new coffee maker! Already made a couple of latte/flat white/cappuccino type things and it's a corker of a machine :)

I love the snow shot!... ace composition and tone!

Coffee:love::love::love::love: and that bokeh!

Excellent I have one too and have even contemplated buying a "spare" I'd be devestated if it broke

St. Paul's shot is terrific, most views like that seem to be shot at night, good to see you have daylight in dat London too :) liked the simplicity of the abstract too

Thank you! The abstract was a bit of a backup photo to be honest, not what I had in mind.

This is my second... my first isn't even broken, but it's a bit crap, especially the steamer. So now it can sit in the cupboard as a spare

Nice!! I want a coffee maker thingy. I don't like coffee, I just think they look amazing in kitchens

Perfect reason to get one! Our kettle is a bit screwed so we picked up a new kettle and toaster today too. When I asked "why do we need a toaster?" Thinking our current one isn't broken or anything... to which I learnt "this toaster matches the new kettle". I've learnt not to argue about these things

 yeah, the coffee machines that have the matching toaster and kettle just fuel my need

Oh I really like the snow shot  I like the focus on the only tyre track to leave, one lone intrepid explorer venturing out while all the other cars at left out of focus  tells a great story  and the coffee machine looks amazing

:) I think my next barren day will contain a matching toaster and kettle photo

Love your new coffee machine. I'll have an double espresso please!

It does mighty fine espressos I tell you!

Loving the Monochrome shots Conor !

Thank you!

Thanks, I'm quite happy how it came out seeing as I only had the 85mm with me :)

Love the snow shot, the composition is very good with the lead in from the tyre print. Nice coffee machine as well :)

Thank you!

Great shot today! No trees out of heads is always a bonus
The snowy road shot is cool too! Sorry, I'm only just getting round to catching up!

Love the snowy road (and could have sworn I'd already replied to it ) - like Matt, I really like that one very clear tire track. Also love how it curves with the buildings.

Your coffee machine looks good in the mono, but coffee machines don't excite me much in general, I'm afraid!

Today's is excellent :)

Really nice image today, congrats!

Thank you!

Awww lovely.. very pretty

Thanks! I don't often get permission to put up photos of the other half. She's quite camera shy!!

Hah! Yeah, reminds me of a photo shoot I did once. Thought I had taken on lovely shot in particular of this model lying on a wall. Looked at the photos afterwards and I had somehow managed to position a chimney stack coming right out of crotch in the background . Oh you learn those lessons fast... but it doesn't mean you don't repeat them every so often :D

Thank you! I did think the coffee machine wouldn't be to everyones taste (pun 100% intended :p)

 two more good shots

Thank you!!

Just catching up on some threads. Love the focus on the snowy road shot, great bokeh on the coffee machine, really like the winter walk one - lovely subject, the snow falling in it is great too.

Love the documentary photography, think you have created a fab product shot

Like the portrait in the snow too, very crisp and clean and your snow is white :)

Thank you! I do prefer white snow, if you leave the camera to it's own devices it has a habit of giving you grey snow!

Lovely natural portrait in a nice setting

Thank you!

Great shot of a total numpty (by my definition, which is anyone who goes running, let alone in this weather! :D).
