Daily 365 Project- The Adventures Of WALL-E

Thanks, I decided to use the 50mm f1.4 (as I had mostly been using my 24-70 for photos lately) and thought the shallower DOF would work better (although it was stopped down to f2.8, it is a bit sharper than the 24-70L wide open). And the gig was good, the two supports had quite bad lighting, but it improved a bit for Edguy, and they put on a great show. I should have the photos uploaded to my website/Flickr in the next few days once processed.

365 Project- 132/365

Today, WALL-E came across my Italian dictionary and tried to learn some new words.

That must be Wood-E Woodpecker... no I must stop now!!!

Seriously though nice depth of field and colour use - the red of the pecker is offset nicely with the background.

I wish the guy I'd got from up wasn't static, having movable arms helps a hell of a lot with your shots.

But thanks, I think a slightly cleaner background would have worked better for the last shot. Which reminds me, I need to check out your thread and see how you're getting on with your project (I hardly have time to even keep up with mine at the moment though!)

Today, WALL-E tried keeping warm in some fur!

These are awesome Iv been inspired I'm off to buy a toy tomorrow/today depending on what time zone your in :p . . . well mainly as it gives me more excuse to buy children's toys :p

but again i must say all of your shots are AWESOME!!! :D

I've really enjoyed catching up with Wall-E's adventures!
I really like the one with him looking into the glasses!

Hi wicker_man - I have wondered, more than once, have you actually seen the film Wall-E? It is a film strictly for young kids ------- that's why I watched it ------ and thoroughly enjoyed it. And I 'aint' a young kid

Thanks, I was happy with the lighting in the wine photo, but I think a cleaner/less distracting background would have been better! And whilst I'm looking back and being critical, I suppose I could have cropped the rose one a bit (from top & bottom).

365 Project- 145/365

I was shooting a gig today (Alestorm, at the Wolverhampton Slade Rooms) and WALL-E had a look at my (rather crudely made) photo pass when I got home!

Love love love this entire thread. Brilliant idea and not one bad photo in the bunch!

Subscribing :)

Thanks, there are some photos which I would say are not as strong as others and can think of many ways to improve them, but I think the key is having good ideas for subjects and situations for WALL-E!

365 Project- 146/365

Today, WALL-E had some Ben & Jerry's ice cream!

Loving the series. Are you taking one a day or doing a few and releasing them?

Thanks, I'm taking one a day (although I am classing a day as from when I wake up to when I go to sleep, not midnight to midnight).
