Daily 365 Photos 2013.

They defeated me!

I'm still here! My mum had her scan yesterday but I woke up on the Wednesday not feeling 100% and by the time the shoot was finished, I was dead. I went to bed as soon as I got home and literally only woke up on Thursday for the scan and then it was back to bed. I'm still up to date though! Still took my photos. Just haven't edited or uploaded them yet. Currently working on the kids photos though :D

Some great shots again Toni, the snowdrops and the legs shot.....lovely processing, and good to hear you're feeling better. Also keeping everything crossed for you for good news about your mum's scan results too :hugs:

Looks like you had a very worthwhile shoot with the kids - you've got some beautiful shots of them both  Is the mum pleased?

Day 66 the OOF foreground gives a feeling of urgency, works well in mono.

Love the radio :)

Thanks Sarah :) In #66, I was walking at close to the same pace as the couple in front of me so they remained relatively in focus where the slower shutter speed caused a bit of motion blur everywhere else; for a total "shoot from the hip whilst walking" shot, I was very happy :D

What beautiful portraits! The mum must be very pleased with them :-)

 That's fab - really like it :D

You're very like your mum in the first one :)

So pleased you've got more enquiries

Thanks Sarah! I love being told I look my mum  (seriously!)

I thought it was "enquiries".. but chrome's spellcheck told me I was wrong! Which is it?!

Wow you do look like your mum there! Awww :-)

As for inquire and enquire either can be used.... Both mean the same, I think ENquire is American English

Oh man, epic as usual! Love your people shots. Really love the shot of your legs and runners, that's a really interesting shot. Your feet look so small in it! Great effect.

Day 62 is also a corker. Really love the emotion in it. And "Merry Birthday"!! Made me giggle.

Love the shots of the Lubitel.

Love the shots of you with your mum! Those are fantastic :)

Who am I kiddin. I love all of them. Love you're processing style, I must really learn how you do that and try it sometime.

Ah thanks Conor, glad to see you back! I've been trying to find my "style" with processing.. not sure if I'm at the consistent stage yet! The kids shots are definitely going to be "trial and error" as they're different to my personal work but I want to find my style there and be consistent with that... I like the processing in the kids ones but it took FOREVER. Literally morning till night for 3 days, stopping only to eat, sleep and pee!

Thanks Sarah! The mum can't wait to get the disc and get some wall decor :D

I'm getting the "this image or video is currently unavailable" flickr shot up there for day 68... is anyone else? It's still on flickr where it's always been!

If you've replaced the shot that can happen. I've seen it before. I usually just grab the link again from Flickr, update the post, and it goes away :)

Great set of shots of the children Toni...no surprising you're getting others interested in your work....love the mono shot too of the hospital really suits the shot....and love the look and comp of the retro radio too...nice work hun :)

Awesome set of photos

Thanks! :D

This was taken by 7am this morning (well, yesterday morning now).. but I barely have the motivation to take the photo, nevermind process and upload it :shake: :bang:

Not my POTD.. but everyone is sad about the weather... look what I've got! Anyone else got snow?

Pressent looks lovely - i do like a nicely wrapped present - I generally go for in the style of Fish and Chips ;)

And no, no snow here :D

I like a nice bit of brown paper for wrapping as well, I did it one Xmas & stamped gold & silver stars over it & tied the presents with string sprayed silver.
No snow here, but there was some in Leicestershire when we were driving home from dropping our son back to his flat.

Brown paper parcel works well!

Snow can F.R.O lol.......... just random flakes falling here... Although your sky in that last shot is pretty cool!

I absolutely love the shots of the little girl and boy! fantastic work there - Lyla has such a cheeky little smile! The one of the hospital works well in mono as well.

Morning Breath seems to have disappeared again  but viewed on Flickr...looks like you'd rather have stayed in bed! Good shot and makes me feel like I'm 'in' the bathroom mirror!

I like the parcel shot - nice and simple and such great wrapping going on there!

We had some snow but not as much as you, thank goodness! :)

Nice sky though - bit of blue up there

Yeah, it was a really nice day bar the snow! It snowed all day but the sky was bright blue and the sun was shining :)
