So the people who are doing or have done 365's (not 52's!), Where did you draw inspiration from to stop yourself getting stuck with the same shot?

I'm working lates this week and finding that I'm already taking 2 Christmas Bokeh shots just to pass the day over as I dont have time to set up/or shot anything else. Also the failing light is causing me issues as I dont have the best experince with Flash (single flash gun with no diffuser's).

So what do/did you do?

P.s, I refuse the answer - "Take a picture of the cat" hehe

365 madness! :bonk:

Take your camera to work... and don't expect an all singing all dancing shot every day, sometimes just a record of it will do :)

Thing Is, I dont think work will allow me to shoot indoors and there is only sho much in our car park.
I'm thinking I need to shoot something early doors! Just need to wake-up sooner!

Think I need an Indoor Lighting tutorial! LOL

Do you work for MI5? :D

It could be an opening for you shooting in work... or even just asking! You could be a weekend warrior before you know it ;)

I dont work for the MI5 no, They are a feeder company to us ;) Only kidding!

Our place is security mad! You need permits normally to shoot here or record.

Blimey!

I was just thinking photos of your desk and it's contents!

Tell me about it, I had an idea to shoot at my desk with a 10mm... I'll still ask but I think it might kick up a fuss.

I managed 6 months then burnt out :(

I beg your pardon!

Only Kidding... I want to refrain from the "normal" filling shots on a 365, Dont get me wrong they will feature at some point but not just now!

Day 343. Wrong end of the year to be asking me about inspiration. :p

I've found that actually documenting my day photographically the way to go.

But, looking back on it my previous job was a godsend as it allowed a lot of freedom. My new one will be the same once I'm on my own.

I'd just copy ideas from the other 365's, We are never going to know. :D (Preferably not mine, as it's terrible. ;))

I toyed with the idea of getting a dictionary, dividing the number of pages by 365 and then shooting top left word on each multiple a day. So, simply put if there are 365 pages then day 1=top left page one, day2=top left page two, etc. - if there are 1200, then day one=1200/365 (round up), day two=1200/720 (round up) and so on.

Not as complicated as it sounds unless your dictionary has less than 365 pages... so a little planning in the dictionary selection department might be an idea! Doesn't even have to be a dictionary really, a fave book maybe - though that might be better for a 52.
