360ºx360º panoramas

I have been looking at 360ºx360º panoramas. found this website which has one.
Bottom of page:

Is there a proper name for them?
Any body know what software you need to create them?

You've answered your own questions, surely. They're called 360ºx360º panoramas and the software used to created them is named on the page you referenced - IPIX.
