Hi, I have a Canon eos 3, a Canon eos 100 and a Chinon CE-5. I also have a Kodak and a Fuji digital camera although not SLR.

I want to rediscover the challenge of using a film camera but I cannot find any companies that develope 35mm film ( not slide).

It seems that digital has taken over completely. Can anyone out there help me with suggestion.

I know that pointing people at Google is considered rude BUT in this case, I think it's justified. If we knew exactly where the OP lived, we might be able to aim them at a local D&P place (Yellow pages list them under Photographic Processing and Printing).

Processing by Peak Imaging
As there does seem to be the occasional moan on the forum regarding service recieved from different companies I just thought I'd take this opportunity to big up Peak Imaging.

I have just returned from my holiday in Cuba and following recommendations from the good folks on this very forum I entrusted my mixed bag of film to Peak Imaging. 3 rolls of Fuji Velvia slide film, 2rolls of Fuji Acros B&W and one roll of no-name film that was in a cheap underwater camera.

I posted them Wednesday afternoon expecting to have to wait til after the weekend but they dropped onto my doormat bright and early Friday morning, that's what I call, service.

I only had them processed and the slides mounted so no printing or Cd creation necessary but at a cost of just over £5/roll including P&P I'd say that was excellent value and top service.

So Thanks to Peak Imaging and to all on here who pointed me in the right direction.

I'll put some up on here when I've finished scanning them in.

Another vote for Peak Imaging here.

Transpacolor are good too.

Steve.

I use Bonusprint for my films, 3 x 24 exposure rolls printed 6x4 for £11.97, for an extra 99p per roll they will put the images on a CD as well.

Most of the fun in using film is DIY. So get off of your ass and start. :)
