35mm Equivalent on a crop sensor?

IIRC Canon has a 1.6 crop factor, so 35/1.6 ~ 22mm
 
The words "equivalent" and "at least" in your question are ambiguous.

If you want a lens which offers a field of view on a crop sensor which is the same as you get with a 35mm lens on full frame, then the answer is you need 22mm. If you also want the lens to be f/2 or faster, then there aren't any lenses that fit the bill exactly. The nearest ones would be:
* Sigma 20mm f/1.8
* Canon 24mm f/1.4

I can think of other answers to fit different interpretations of "equivalent" and "at least", so if this doesn't answer your question then please clarify.

As will the perspective because you have moved.

If you use them both in the same place the perspective will be the same but you will get a wider view on FF.

The Maths is easy - the actual answer is a 'can of worms'

There's no such thing as an absolute 'equivalent' due to those pesky laws of physics.

But as a general rule, using a lens for 'taking pictures' you can stick with the simple answer and get a 24mm* lens and without spending a lot of money your choice is the Sigma 24mm 1.8 @ £429

Alternatives:

Canon 24mm 2.8 £625 (too slow?)
Canon 24mm 1.4 £1245
Canon TSE 24mm 3.5 £1709 (tilt shift)
Canon CE 24mm 1.5 £4448 (cinema lens)

Samyang TS 24mm 3.5 £949 (tilt shift)
Zeiss 28mm 2.0 £1069 or the 21mm for slightly more

Of course many of the above will be available S/H too or you could get a zoom.

*24mm because manufacturers sell lenses at an arbitrary set of focal lengths and you cant just buy a 22mm or 23mm or whatever. You'll also find that the 'actual' focal length of a bunch of 35mm lenses will vary somewhat, as do the 'actual' focal lengths of the 24mm's.
 
The OP never mentioned perspective though. Only he knows what he meant by "equivalent".

That's quite true. Sometimes people don't understand what perspective is and confuse it with angle of view.

I bought a Sigma 20mm f1.8 when I had an APS-C DSLR.

It's a good lens and sharp enough to be perfectly usable at f1.8. It's quite a large lens but actually not that heavy and it gives a nice FoV on APS-C, shame it doesn't have HSM. I believe that the Sigma 24mm f1.8 is very similar and if it is it should be a good lens too.
