3 Stop ND for Lee System

Hi,

Anyone use a 3 stop filter for the Lee system? I have the little and big stopper and was thinking of adding a 3 stop to the mix for some sea swooshery.

I notice Lee do one for around £80-100 but also spotted a Kood one which fits the Lee holder. Anyone use or had any experience with these?

I've got the pro glass from Lee, I like - it does what I need. Not really tried the others so can't comment on them.

I've got the Lee 3-stop Pro-glass too.....seems fine. It's also worth considering a 3-stop hard grad instead. With many lenses It can be positioned as solid ND and give you a second option for your money.

Interesting point about the grad. I do have a 3 stop hard so may look at that. I think it's likely I'll end up going for the Lee option. I have their other filters and other than cost, can't fault them.

Did you bu the resin one? as ND Graduated?

Anyways before ND graduate... i will buy the 105mm Polariser so i can do the ND + polariser

Resin grads, yes.

The polariser I found made a great difference. The landscape one has a warming filter as part of it too which adds a nice touch IMO.

The grads I use are hard rather than soft. I find they suit most things for me. I usually use a 0.6 or 0.9 for most.
