Hi all

Just bought a 2nd SB600 flash from another forum member, to join my SB700. As well as getting 2 white reflector brolleys from Lencarta - so I am now in a position to light a white background (well grey actually, but light so white).

I saw a really useful video from Garry on the Lencarta website, so thanks to him for that!

Here is my first efforts:

Sorry for the model, I had no humans!

Set-up was Sb700 with sofbox camera left, at 1/20 power; and 2 SB600s reflected into white brolleys behind subject on to the background, at 1/2 power. 1/125 sec, f/6.3, ISO 320 in camera. All triggered by the D300s on-board flash as a commander.

I was surprised at the differance I had to have between the key light and the background lights, and how much power I needed from the SB600's to blow out the background - I raised the ISO to make it a bit easier for them.

No light meter I'm afraid, and I gauged the background as suffiently blown when it all flashed on the LCD of the camera (highlights).

Any comments? Thanks!
