hi guys
just wondering if anyone will insure my camera gear.
most of it is second hand not from dealers but bought
private from individuals
does anyone know of a company that does this ??
 
Have you looked at your home / contents insurance ?
 
It doesn't matter if your equipment is second hand or not. Most cars are second hand. All you do is insure as usual for the amount the equipment is worth, generally on your home insurance.
Just make a complete list of everything: cameras, lenses, filters, bags, tripod, flash, chargers, batteries...

I bought second hand then had my gear stolen. It was covered on a new for old basis so got brand new, more expensive gear to replace it.
