I shoot mostly with 85mm, but with 28mm on my second body. In a world where 85/35 seems to be the go-to combo - who else loves a 28mm?
 
I enjoy 28mm too. I think I have the 28/50 prime combination on all the systems I use. Haven't ever been able to get on with 35mm.
 
Except that it's 42mm on a crop sensor. :D
 
I 'grew up' with 28/50/100. I could still live with those three, or just the first two, today. I find 35 works for me as a one focal length option but 85mm is the focal length I struggle with.
 
I have several film era 28's and use them now and again and I recently bought the Sony 28mm f2 which I'm happy with. I bought that lens for a trip to London that never happened due to lockdown but we'll be going one day.

If looking at combinations I think 35/85 is nice but I recently enjoyed an outing with 24/50.
 
I'm one of those horrible people who love zooms. I previously used a Sigma 28-300 on a Canon 5D but I now have a Tamron 28-300 on a Nikon D600. Having said which, 28mm is a nice focal length for 35mm / Full Frame...

I had one of those. It wasn't a lens to pixel peep but it was a good day out and holiday lens.
 
Ive just got a 28mm film era lens for a quarter of a used fuji 23mm f2, as a street lens, im not sure I need to go to 23mm for the sort of images i want to take but fancied a fixed lens to have a go with.

Mine only cost about £60 and it gave me what I consider very acceptable results...

I recently purchased the Sony 28mm f2 and with the limited times I’ve used it I’m really liking it so far. As soon as I’m allowed into London it will be in the bag for sure, probably paired with either the 55 f1.8 Zeiss or the 85 f1.8.
 
Not so long ago, I had 6.
The Olympus 28mm, the Canon FD and Tokina have all found new homes. the Petri F2 is, sadly, waiting for a new front element which will probably never materialise.
That leaves me with a Zeiss Distagon as my main 28mm, backed up by my Minolta MD.
Used on a Sony A7iii now.

I have to say I was blown away by the quality of the little 28mm f/2.8 FD. Lovely little lens at an extraordinarily reasonable price :)
 
At the moment I have Minolta Rokkor, Olymus Zuiko, Canon FD and Nikon AI-S and Series E II film era 28mm f2.8's plus a Sony 28mm f2 AF lens. Of the film era lenses the Zuiko is the most compact but I'd say that the Minolta and Nikon AI-S are the best with an honourable mention to the Nikon Series E for taking a kicking in reviews I've read but actually being IMO a rather nice lens.

I bought mine new to use on my first DSRL, a Canon 300D. I'd gone digital with a Fuji S602 pro zoom but camera was very slow for anything but static subjects and even then it was slow. The Fuji had replaced my Nikon SLR which I'd used for decades.

Anyway. The Sigma had many days out and some holidays.

I'm a 35mm (focal length) shooter at heart, I've never got on with ultra wide angles, I struggle with composition that wide, so 28mm is quite a nice sweet spot for me, getting a lot more in frame but not getting silly wide!
