OK, so for my latest submission for the 2012 TP52 I posted a photograph of a skull, come on, who doesn't have a skull lying around the house :)

I decided I could do more, so I'm going to post 28 photographs of the same skull, using light, colour, angles, other props. The photographs won't necessarily be one a day...

Feedback, as always, appreciated. PS, it's not a human skull...if you have one, I'll take it at the asking price :) I'll upload #1 tonight. Cheers.

I look forward to this thread Andy:thumbs:, was contemplating buying a skull from Amazon to do some shots. Will follow this thread with anticipation.:clap:

Cheers, Rob, I'm looking forward to this one myself. Just given my daughter the fright of her life when she walked into the kitchen and saw the skull on the table :D
 
You have confirmed my worst fears matey.....totally :cuckoo::lol:

#1 for the sepia type tones...could you not achieve this in ps with colorize ?

Good contrast in the textures of feathers & skull...nice selection of feathers by the way :thumbs:
has Isabelle recovered from the shock yet ??

Interesting challenge Andy, I look forward to seeing it. Like the first of the 2 edits you have posted. The cranium shot looks quite cool :thumbs:

Oh and for a minute I thought you had 28 skulls in one picture :lol:

Cheers, Michael, this was my first attempt a displacement in PS....I saw that it wasn't central but it was too late o get it bang on....ggrrrr.

I really like the smoking skull shot-to me it has a real sci-fi/Alien look.:clap:
 
Hi Andy, I like the project. The first 2 are quality, I like the idea soft v hard and light v dark.
The last image is great I do like smoke trail shots. Well done.
