I was watching 'Coast' on the Beeb yesterday evening, and they were interviewing a member of the Ordnance Survey arial mapping team. I'm pretty sure that he said that they used 250MP stills cameras for high definition photography. I wonder how much they cost???
 
And I wonder if Jessops will price match on one :D

You should see the "Raptor" recce pod the RAF use... mind you, I wouldnt want hang it round my neck on a strap..
 
I think ive seen a shot from this somewhere. It was a picture of a beach, with bit cropped out and blown up to the size of the origional, and the detail was stunning. People miles away that looked like little dots on the origional shot, could be blown up to show the clothes etc.
 
Wasn't that a shot of New York? I remember that one.
