2016 not finished yet... RIP Richard Adams

My favourite book as a kid. :(
 
I'd be desperate for 2017 to come and end all of this, but I do wonder if this is likely to continue if not become a more regular occurrence.

In future, how many will reflect on the loss of a reality TV show 'star' I wonder. Far less genuine stars, celebrities and role models than there used to be, all imo of course.
 
it's getting to the point where every time I scroll down my facebook feed and see a photo of someone famous, my heart sinks and the first thing I think is "oh [PLEASE DON'T TRY TO BYPASS THE SWEAR FILTER], not them as well..."

Been a few well known people go this year, this chap at 96 is sad, but hardly a shock at that age.

One that will surprise me when it happens is Ozzy, come to think of him as immortal

Ozzy didn't even make the top 50 in this years 'death list', maybe he is immortal!

Richards death quite sad as I used to live just up road from where he based the story on ...... the fields and road ...... there is a pub at bottom of the hill I've eaten in
