2015 Photo52 Challenge : WEEK 52 we finally made it and its "Christmas" into the bargain

Can think of lots of things for Bliss, just getting a good shot now :-)

Commented on a few of week 0, but after looking through the photo only thread I must say there are a lot of good entries. Round of applause guys :woot:

I've only got white envelopes, and I feel you're being unfair by insisting on brown :(. There should be a completely even playing field where corruption is concerned ;)

Yes, I'm beginning to regret my decision to take part, if the standard is going to be this high! I dread to think how spectacular some of you are going to be by the end!

Ive heard it doesn't take much to persuade Sarah, so I'm just going to send her the envelope. It was damn expensive you know, more than 20p from memory!

Sarah is the easy going one, I'm far more mercenary than she is :D
 
For me, bliss is landing in NYC.... But not got time to fly out there this week lol....

Although I sense a NYC tabletop set up possibly on the horizon?
 
I might have to pull out a photo I took in November.... Or try to get creative around the house.

When I saw bliss it filled me with dread, what on earth am I going on I shoot for that.

I've since had some thoughts on it and am lining a great image over the weekend. I suppose it's whatever makes you happy.
 
Evening all, don't be getting yourselves all worked up. It's day 1 of week 1.

If you don't have any ideas, just think laterally, have a quick look at various definitions (you'll be suprised what you find), ask family members/friends for ideas, Google for inspiration and if in doubt go for an obvious interpretation and, as they say, move on (y)

You've got plenty of time.
I have a few ideas, and Jackie and Isabelle are off out tomorrow :banana:

that's a yes DK - and I will use the challenge to iron out my weak spots - like using artificial lighting. I already have a plan for week 1 but I will need to recruit a model :)

It is a bit of a stinker but there's plenty of options. People just need to think about what makes them happy and shoot it...

And that's one of the really important bits.
No need to rush or half kill yourselves to get something immediately. There's a whole week and even if you don't post until next weekend the world's not going to end - certainly not worth dropping out of the challenge because you're a day or two 'late' finishing week 1 (and I know where Andy's coming from with this, we've seen it happen in so many other years)

It's one of those themes that seems tricky on the surface, but when you think about it it just comes down to something that makes you happy, as others have said - so it's actually pretty open to whatever interpretation that you want.
Saying that, it would be nice to see a bit of googling and lateral thinking too :)

Not the easiest one I admit. (thanks mate :p)

At the moment I'm struggling to see how a P/s jigsaw of a tiger will fit the theme
Maybe I'll post a complete one and its "Bliss" that I finished it? :D

DAMN... it took until March for somebody to mention it last year, I was hoping to beat it this year and see if I could get to April :bat:
 
Had an idea, when for it but the weather was against me :(

Managed to get my fallback idea photographed and processed.

Doubtful I'll get another go at my preferred idea because of the dark nights.

I'm up-to-date with comments, for now :) and some fine submissions.

As for Bliss.....I think I may play a joker or old shot unless something amazing happens tomorrow .......can't wait for the nights to start drawing out....& praying for more snow :D

I went out tonight , all excited , to Higger Tor as it looked very promising for a sunset....that was going to be my Bliss shot. However , yet again , mother nature thwarted my plans & the sunset didn't happen ...:banghead:

If all else fails it'll be a moto x shot....cos that , for me , is a pretty blissful way of spending a sunday....providing it's not raining cats n dogs :LOL:

Yes more snow!! Maybe Tuesday on one forecast I saw. Turned a bit chilly today, was going to do more frost shots but decided that I have done that to death a bit recently. Come on inspiration!!
