So, less than a week before the first ball is teed off at Gleneagles. I can't wait, this event really stirs my fires!

Fourball teetimes Friday 0735-0820, foursomes 1315-1400
Saturday as above
Sunday singles, 1136-1348.
Should all be decided by around 1730 unless its a whitewash.

Ryder cup is the only golf that I ever watch, the entertainment has been superb over the last few years.
 
Really looking fore-ward to it and just hope for good weather and a win for Europe. May go and watch Sunday's coverage in our clubhouse. Should be a good atmosphere.
 
I am a bit golf mad really, and even buy the Ryder Cup DVD's. Medinah was an unbelievable turnaround, and just confirmed Poulter's role as a Ryder Cup hero IMO. We now have a number of players who can challenge the top "Murkins" on both sides of the Atlantic, so this should be a great tournament.
 
Would hate to have Keegan Bradley as a playing partner, I'd want to t*** him with my driver after 2 holes.
 
Who's going to be first up for each team?

US - Mahan or Mickelson
Europe - Poulter or McIlroy?
 
Don't mind the game but since the park and ride is on my delivery route I'd rather it was played elsewhere, reduced speed limits, temporary traffic lights and access only restrictions in place already.
 
Gleneagles is a fantastic course,been to it many many times, great for the players and the spectator.

It's going to be close,just hope the weather behaves.
 
Being local - I was through at Gleneagles today. The place was mobbed.

Got to travel through tomorrow to.
 
Thank god for the SkyGo app!! Will have to discretely position phone on work desk tomorrow morning and try not to shout "in the hole"!!!
 
funnily enough I am "working from home" tomorrow, which means I did about an hour tonight, and plan on erm.... tidying the house, speaking to work people... will "log on" maybe, but dodgy phone reception here on a Friday (no idea why) and there's a golf game on the TV....

Might as well rename tomorrow as "work from home" Friday!!

If only! after a few quiet weeks things are chaotic - too busy in work to work from home..... Luckily i have my own office at the moment so will be bringing my laptop in to have on in the background.
 
And that is one hell of a crowd at the first tee
 
wow...what a great start.
 
When you have to drive in a 40mph limit for miles between Milnathort and the Pool of Muckart because of Park and Rides, which are umpteen miles away from Gleneagles, I hope they never get their wee balls in the hole!
 
Just to report in... I got absolutely no work done whatsoevfer , however I may have shouted a few rude words at some of garcia's tee shots.. looked like a 12 handicapper at times, however if you need a duck hook...
 
Well done Europe, finished in style with a great shot to win it.
