2014 Photo52 Challenge : Week 52 : Support

Oh North Wales is nice, on the rare occasion the sun shines and the wind is below 20kts!! It brings back horrible memories though of Anglesey! Cringe!

Got my close shot today, not what I was expecting at all, not posted it yet though!

I struggle with commenting. I did two hours worth last night and barely scratched the surface :bonk:
 
Spent the beginning of week two of my honeymoon in Bets-y-coed. Lovely part of the world. Much nicer than Cyprus... Anyway, what is the meet thing all about?

Hi Simon

twice a year , or more if we can manage it , a few of us try to sort a meet of 52'ers somewhere in the country. Normally meet up on a Thursday , sensibly priced accommodation ( wigwams or bunkhouses) , leave on the sunday & spend the time in between taking photo's , walking , having a giggle etc. Sleep is optional :D There's about 10 of us heading to Norfolk in February from the 2013 52's , went to the Malverns & Glen Coe last year , Cumbria & Northumberland 2012 if I remember correctly & it all started in 2011 at Castletown in the Peak district .
Dunno what part of the country you're in but if you fancy a meet up in a particular area of the country shout up & we'll see who's interested ,next meet will probably June/July time before the kids break up for summer holidays .

Sounds cool!

I doubt I will be able to, however, as end of Feb, baby is due! (it would never have been an option).
June, again, not sure but I'm based in West Sussex, a place called Lancing. It's between Worthing and Brighton on the coast.

Enjoy your meet up when you go though.
 
Lordy there's been a flurry of activity today - was feeling quite pleased with myself - now I've got loads of catching up to do :LOL:
 
Trying my "close" photo agsin tonight as my first attempt didn't work.

Hopefully I will post tonight but out tomorrow so it might not be until Friday.

Just caught up myself hope I've not missed anyone. Agree some good Close ones, not done mine yet still trying to bribe my model

Just one slight gripe some of the links to the theme image are taking you to the 1st thread post and not the actual image post. Not too bad at present but in a few weeks that could mean lots of scrolling :eek:
 
Oh good, I resorted to that method in the end... eventually.

Initially I was looking through the 52s page and trying to remember which ones I had commented on and then other people would do the same and I'd get all confused and out of sync - not very logical

I use the "No comments" thread too - it's either that or a spreadsheet :LOL: :runaway:

Me too Mandy, its gone even quicker since I was having to play catch up from the start.

Yes indeed i am, i am all up to date with what things so i am fed watered and sat with my music on rather ( loudly i might add ) waiting for the grand announcement to be made.
 
:-( oh no that really isn't a helpful theme this week. I'll really have to think about this one.
 
Bubbles... Could be fun. I still need to catch up on 'close' its just been one of those weeks.
