Is that the older threads? The format of links has changed, I think, and pretty much everything before the changeover is borked, but I have not noticed problems with posts made after the change. It does make commenting difficult...

It's all gone very quiet over in the threads, where is everyone? :D

As for this weeks theme, no ideas have sprung to mind just yet, how is everyone else getting on?

Got my idea but whether I can shoot it as I see it is anyone's guess o_O

I guess with the big C coming up peeps will busy with shopping etc...

I've popped a few idea's for place's in Norfolk over in the meet thread :banana:

Just seen your idea Lynne, I used the artist mannequin last year?? when this theme came out so didn't want to go down that route again but you've really nailed it. I will be over shortly to comment in your thread.

I am trying to stay away from my defaults for a while after posting one as recently for left but if nothing else springs to mind I may just have to relent.
 
What's occurring with the links?

I used to just grab the link, paste into link and type in whatever I wished it to read, now all I get is the url.

Sorry I'm a bit behind, quite a bad few months :(

I had that problem too Mark, you have to type whatever you want the link to read, highlight it, then post the link to the highlighted word, if that makes sense?
 
Unhappy bunny.

Ive been waiting for my new flash to arrive only to discover it has apparently been delivered and signed for - last week. Its not been received at my address or signed for by anyone here.

I had this happen to a parcel of mine, There's a place online where you can view the signature. Print it out and kick up a big fuss.

Did you buy online? might be worth contacting your credit card company. Explain the situation, ask if they can help.

There is/was an opt out button. I did mine ages ago. I can't remember where it was, but down at the bottom of the edit page I think.
 
Correct me if I'm wrong...pause for effect......but.....isn't tomorrow....week 47!! I always liked 47. 4+7 = 11. 1+1 = 2. I always liked 2.

Facts about number 2: Despite being a prime, two is also a highly composite number, because it has more divisors than the number one. The next highly composite number is four.

Well - I might as well bow out - a fair few weeks behind and frankly at this time of year I'm always rubbish - practically never touch a camera... odd but according to my wife it always happens at this time of year, so rather than tormenting poor old DK making him hunt for the lost shots I'll just fess up and drop out.

Fair play to you, I have thought of sacking it a few times this year, the only thing that stopped me was having an unfinished 52 on my hard-drive that would play havoc with my OCD'ish mind :lol:

Cooeey :wave: Sorry, I've been a bit MIA, a busy week moving to the sunny isle, an obvious dose of lurgy thanks to gross gits hawking their lungs up constantly whilst trapped in a cylindrical metal machine breathing their germs for five hours was inevitable! I have managed to upload one shot to Flickr, got a few more ideas and hoping to catch up on the missing shots over the last few weeks of the year!

I hope everyone is doing ok?

And just so I'm the first to say it Merry Christmas :exit:

Indeed. It has become a sort of diary this '52 thing and it's interesting to look back. I find it shocking and a little bit sad that from the 100+ that started this we are now down to 10 or 12 regulars and a few others on the fringe who drop out / catch up / drop out again. I've enjoyed getting to [sort of] know people through the year and I will keep an eye on your threads next year, I've decided to join in with the etc. thing in 2014, instead of a '52. Two reasons, one is that as I will be ramping up my cycling and running again and of course I have my PPL(B) to study for so I will not be able to put the time in every week - the odd concentrated session here n there will suit me better - and the other is that I think I will learn more doing that than if I do another year of this. Typical of me to start looking forward to the next thing already!

And Brian, I'm also kinda at the "not doing it again next year stage", it's not easy, which is probably why so many don't make it..... Everyone (most) has had bad weeks, and dips, but then nearly always follow them with a cracker in the weeks after.... the themes are not always to our likings, which is part of the reasons, but without a theme - it would be much harder and monotonous.

Hmm, I'll have a look at the 12's ETC, and I'll keep an eye on a few of the 52's next year.

Well, i'll be in for another 52 despite the frustrations and teddy throwing. Looking back, i have learned sooo much it is unbelievable. Yes, some of the themes don't inspire but, when i get a ggod image the feeling is fantastic. Without the 52 i wouldn't have learned half as much. Looking forward to the 2014-52. Thats if its still going of course?

Week 47 picture done & published, up to date on commenting too.

Only 5 more weeks to go! I wonder what the themes will be? Looking forward to Saturday already now. :D
