Hi,

I had a Family photo taken on a visit to Thailand, the photo is what I call a 2 in 1 photo, but I'm looking for the real name and some info on how to make them, what software to buy etc? The photo has 2 completely different photos on one side, which change back and forth as you tilt it and is a kind of 3D effect, there's also another photo on the reverse side.

Any help will be much appreciated.

If it's the same as what we do at work, it's called lenticular. The software we bought was £20k but did come with a free Quadcore Mac Pro. :)

You can also make a 3D effect with it. I'm not trained in the software but have an understanding of it. Once edited in the software it prints out as a series of lines. Imagine every odd line to be one photo and every even line to be the other photo. A sheet of lenticular is then placed over the top which means if you look from one angle you'll see the odd lines, and look from another angle you'll see the even lines hence you can see 2 photos.
