Ok, How do i get to open 2 images in ps3 so i can blend them? i can open as many images as i like but cant seem to work out how to overlay them.. is that the right word for it?? anyway, im not exactly looking for HDR but i suppose it would sort of resemble it, at the moment if i want to add a bit of a different photo im having to open the pic, then cut out the bit i want then cloe it, goto the image i want to add it to, open a new blank layer and paste it.. but if i want 2 whole pics IDENTICAL to overlay i cant do it.. im sure its very easy and been covered before but iv not come across it..

Thx in advance..

ok... lets assume you're copying photo two to photo one...

select all of photo two, CTRL + A... go to the move tool and simply drag it over to photo one. then, in the layers pallete and find the box next to opacity that says "normal" change that to overlay, and the job's a goodun

what would i do without you Matty... i love ya man...

lol.. i will.. iv gotta shoot out right now.. back in a while ...

Select All, Copy, switch to target image, Paste

Dragging the image with the Move Tool means it will end up off centre, Copy/Paste will centre it for you

If you drag it while having the shift + alt on... it keeps it aligned with the other if i remember correctly.

Why do you select overlay Matty? Ive just had a look and it leaves it looking kind of odd. Couldnt you just drag one on top of the other and then adjust the opacity slider?

Ok, thx guys, iv got the hang of it now.. Pxl8's version was easiest.. sorry Matt.. lol..

This is what i was messing with.. remember, this is the first one!! its not perfect.. (Note to self.. Dont have variables like cussions in the pic!!)
