Hi All, just heard about this event on the local radio starting tonight and lasting until sat night, sounds interesting for a few night time snaps, i have tried to do a search but found nothing, did anyone manage to get photos from the bristol event, it says much is in the streets of the city, so no problem getting images from there but does anyone know if they closed areas off at all , i've added the web link so people can read whats it is all about.

only problem is they do not tell you where it starts, only when you buy a ticket to play the game do you find out, so will visit town to night and see what i can find , if not return friday , if anyone knows the area for the start a pm would be much appreciated :thumbs:

There is the meet section . I saw this last week and though about just heading into town and chance it for a few shots . I just think I could be wandering around and miss it totally . If you do find out anything post it up and I may have a trip down tomorrow .
 
I contacted them and it seems they are already worried about the amount of people who have contacted them re filming and photographing this. They have asked if I do attend to try and be discrete....and I hope others follow this too. Part of the Zombie Walk in Manchester in 2009 turned into a small photo scrum, would be a real shame if this event suffers the same and spoils the fun for people taking part.

Still no idea where anything is taking place, and I imagine they will keep it very quiet to try and save spoiling it too much.
 
just looked at the site £28 for a ticket seems ott.
 
well just got back, interesting evening, no problem with photos as most of the zombies are in public places :thumbs:, i chatted to a few as well as the runners seem to come in waves, so you do get a chance for pictures, i'll post some up after sat night so it does not spoil it for those who have paid to run, as they may reconise the back grounds.
none of the zombies know where the event starts from they only know their zone which they have to try and guard.
one did slip the name of the finishing post , which if any one wishes to know then please pm me rather than on open forum, again only fair to those running.

you cannot miss the zombies as they are all dressed in green like medical outfits, you just need to keep out of the way of the runners, as they are running at full pelt :lol:

only saw one other togger , but from what she was saying , she was an offical , she thought i was as well so just went along with it :clap:
 
I don't think that I'm going to get a chance to go into town for this now , it's a shame that I didn't see your post earlier yesterday as I'd have come along with you . I can't wait to see your shots from the night though .
