Morning.... Is anyone able to recommend a good quality remote shutter release for the 1dx, either wired or wireless?

Thank in advance for your help.
 
If you want a programmable wireless one then Hahnel Giga T Pro 2 works well. If you have more than one camera you can fire multiple remotes with one transmitter although I guess this feature will be available on most wireless remotes. If you just want a wired lockable one then Hahnel again.
 
if your going for a wired remote shutter release go for the genuine canon remote it's pretty well made and the plug end locks into the camera socket rather than just a push fit that most of the third party ones have

as far as the hahnel wireless ones are concerned they work pretty well apart from one niggle i have found with the standard ( no built in timer ) and pro versions of the giga T remotes ( with built in timer ) which is if the camera is set to continuous shutter release no mater how fast i press and release the remote button the camera 8 times out of 10 took 2 frames
obviously if the camera was set to single frame it never happened and using the canon wired remote never caused the issue

apart from that they work quite well
