As per title, must be absolute mint condition, must be post sub mirror fix serial number as well as having no, and i mean no auto focus issues at all. Must still be under warranty (at least 6 month) and preferably with an extended warranty already in place and transferrable, ill have the cash ready within 7 days so if you have something drop me a PM with what you want for it.

No grey market, Japan/USA sourced cameras, must be UK stock with original receipt.

Please excuse me if I'm being a wee bit thick here but, with all those conditions, wouldn't you be better purchasing a brand-spanking new body in a sealed box at a reasonable price from a reputable distributor?

Possibly right there Bob, however ive just missed out on one as ive described for only £1,600 which is a good saving on new if you take into account an extra £100 for the extended warranty.

Cheapest new is £2,259 from Bentonville Mall but they dont offer extended warranties, warehouse express price is £2,339 plus £99 for the extra warranty.

Unless of course anyone knows better

Ive tried Kerso but he doesnt have any, i think they might have been grey market stock anyway.

Checked that out before but its one of those that needed the sub mirror fix, dont really want to spend good money on what was essentially a sub par product to start with and is still documented to have issues.

Ahh ok, a fair saving to be sure. Perhaps keep an eye on prices once the D3X hits, not sure if it will impact or not?

I have and the one for £1600 is wrongly priced, it should be actually £1900 and eos themselves admitted the error and put another ad in for the selelr, i do notice it has all changed on there now so no idea whats going on.

Also my original post said i dont want any with the sub mirror fix, they still have problems shooting moving subjects in bright light, i know too many people who are struggling with the sub mirror fix mk3's but are just putting up with it or selling them on.

I just bought a used MKIII off Ebay and the shutter count is 15k, it has 6 months original warranty left, was provided with original receipt and all accessories, including a 2GB CF Card, post focus body and a UK model all for £1675. The guy even travelled to meet me to deliver which was excellent!!

When I went to register it with Canon like I have all my other cameras it extended the warranty to 2 years also so even better.

Just goes to show you can get a deal out there evey now and then
