1D Mk3 - are issues fully resolved

Folks,

I know this has probably been done to death but am struggling with all this yellow dot, blue dot etc and firmware.

Please can any 1D mk3 users tell me if..

1. New bodies have fixed focus problems

2. Which firmware and dot colour is shipping with new bodies

I was holding out for a 1d3N whenever that is and hoping my old 20D would las but seem to be getting regular err 99's with it. I also thought I didn't need robustness of a 1D but having been crawling round Norfolk undergrowth for 2 weeks I have changed my mins somewhat.

Any views or comments would be most welcome

I knew it would be under my nose.

So AF performance probably resolved to a higher level than my skill.

As 2 experienced users how would you rate iso performance?.

I'm pretty sure your patience has paid off as prices have dropped a tad since it was launched, and the issues have been resolved (though some will always argue). Cracking camera. This gallery has a range of high ISO concert shots from 640 up to 3200 - I was using shutter priority and auto-ISO increase.

Thank you - more confirmation... I feel a large loss of folding coinage coming V shortly.
