Some of the comments I've seen here and elsewhere don't stand up to close scrutiny when the owners of the comments are questioned closely.

I don't much like that guy R.G. but the fact that Canon Jp flew a team out to the Aussie open after the sub-mirror box fixes and after the firmware was updated told me there might have been more to it than just R.G. and his disciples...

Spoke to a few local guys who own them and they were all ecstatic.

Would like to lay my hands on one and find out for myself...:thumbs::D

Guys.. IV GOT A MkIII!!!!! Woohoo!!!

I went shopping and ended up with a used one with all the fix's and updates..

Jacobs are good for a haggle!!

They wanted £1899 but i managed to get them down to £1650!!

Im over the moon!! What a nice camera!!!
