I'm new to this forum and would like to say "hello" to you all. Apart from receiving your help now and in the future , I hope that I will be able to offer help too.
I have just bit the bullet and bought a 1D Mk 4. I'm trying to sort out the camera's settings ,but can't see how to set it up to show 'faint'/unlit AF points through the viewfinder -all 45 of them!
What I'm seeing is just the highlighted/red focus points once they have locked on to a subject.
Does anyone know how to do this please?
Thanks

I dont believe you can show up all the AF points at once when taking a shot. I'm not sure why you'd like to do so as it'll be quite distracting I'd have thought.

Generally, you can have the active point show continuously, or light up when you press the button. If you want to "see" all the points then you'd probably put it in all points focus mode where the camera will pick the point for you, and you'll see all the points light up briefly, but when you take a shot you'll only see the points that the camera has decided to use.

Refer to the user manual starting at Page 93....might answer it for you ?
