Hi guys... My friend experienced his mark iv sensor get burn and having motor problem after use full hd to take video... Anyone experience it before? Cheers.

Sensor burn is unusual during video, although can occur if the sensor takes a direct strike from a laser during a concert for example.

If it does then afraid its time for a new one. you also mentioned motor problems (Lens or Body?) are you sure the camera didnt take a knock or drop..

Cant really offer any more advice other than time for a trip to Canon and expect a hefty bill.
