This could be an interesting one for me, especially as I don't do much B&W. Good subject Dave!

Entries can be posted from 8pm on Thursday 14th until 8pm on Sunday 17th May, with the winner announced later that evening.

A couple of questions:

1. Where should they be posted to?

2. Is there a theme?

EDIT: I get it. Black and white is the theme! (for me, black and white is a film choice, not a theme!).

Steve.

Right, will hopefully get a third in by the weekend :)
A bit boring, and not intentionally taken for B+W But I think it suits them OK :D

Wow some great entries this week :woot:, its going to hard to pick a winner looking at the standard this week, looks like I have a task on.

If you haven't entered an image yet there's still time, the challenge is open for posting till 8pm Sunday, so get your skates on anyone can enter.

I'll try to get something done during the weekend. Black and White was my real passion back when it was my hobby.....Let's see if I've still got it???

I know it's just a snapshot - I just wanted to get something in. I hope to get something a little more inspiring before Sunday night, but weather and time might be against me!!

Ok, one from me. Not taken specifically for this theme as I was in Cornwall without internet until last night, but was taken in the time scale [Tuesday to be exact] with an idea for a conversion in mind due to the subject, so it fits. Might do something else this evening too time permitting.

Polperro - Circa 2009 ;)

It would never have occurred to me to convert this to B&W, but as I'm unlikely to shoot anything else within the timeframe, here goes....

I think this one really suits being in black and white, even more than it would in colour. I find that without the distraction of full colour, your mind is left to explore form and movement only. and this is packed to the brim with both.

So far, this and the fishing village are my favorites.

I did not manage to get a photo of the idea that I had. The weather has also not been very kind, but here are my three. If I get something better tomorrow, I may change them.
