I ordered a Cokin P series filter from warehouse express back on the 2nd October. I was sent an e-mail advising the item was out of stock. I have waited almost a month now so I gave them a quick call to see what was taking so long and was told Cokin filters are very popular and can take up to 16 weeks!!!!

It'd be the end of January next year before it turns up! :(
 
That is what i'm thinking. If anyone knows anywhere else that has them in stock then please tell!
 
Id cancel it TBH. For the holder that really is taking the P.

I know Cokin have a supply problem with ND / ND Grads at the moment, as I've been trying to get hold of some for a while now.
I managed to get a couple yesterday from my local Wilkinson Cameras shop in Bury, and I know they have the filter holders in.

Failing that, you always have ebay, there are quite a few holders on there :)

I'm waiting for an ND grad filter to come :D You mention the shop in Bury, do they have any ND grads in that you know of? Might be worth the trip!
 
You could try Bob Rigby in Bollington, Nr Macclesfield.

They may have whay you are after?

I would check and see if they stocked them but for some reason my company's content blocking system thinks it's a dodgy site (i.e. p0rn) and won't let me open it :shrug:. Daft as I am pretty sure that if I wanted I would be able to access such material at work I could without too much difficulty :cuckoo:

Their stock system said the shop had a 121M, which I was after, but they couldnt find it, probably sold and not updated stock.

I got a 121S...I think they had a 121 left on the shelf. (ND8)
 
I'm after the 121m too. Hmmm should I grab the ND8 before they become extinct too?! Ive tried loads of different shops, websites but everywhere is out of stock on all Cokin ND grads :(
 
I ordered some from foto-sense last month, got the goods and then rcvd an e-mail saying that the factory in Italy is closed for the next month so they would not be able to supply! Could be why they are difficult to get hold of at the moment :shrug:

Yea apparently I heard they close the factory in France for the summer hols. They are in short supply now!

So they'll probably end up in the trash bin in a couple years.

You know there's only one sollution don't you guys.. replace the Cokin Holder with a Lee system and get onto Robert White for your filter needs.:D
 
I just realised that after I posted it :lol:

I think i'll get some ordered then!
 
I can recommend the Hitech ones mentioned earlier - I got a set earlier in the year and they've been superb!
 
If it's any use to those searching for Cokin filters I know that HiTech will trim theirs down to fit the Cokin filter instead of the Lee one :shrug:
