Hi everyone.

I have my old television here (pre HD but still thin one) and I don't know what to do with it! It would be a shame to see it go to waste so I want to make use of it...

I currently use a laptop and keep filling the hard drive and wondered if it would be beneificial for me to buy the tower part of a laptop (very cheapo second hand jobby) and just get a nice big hard drive to store things on, not really use it but maybe once in a while for assignments (one in a while..) to maybe use then for things like that. Is there any cheap cheap new ones?

Is there anything else I can do with it? Sounds like a thick question but you never know! :cuckoo::thumbs:
 
A media player with a USB port for a card reader or external drive would allow you to use it like a digital photo frame and for playing your backup rips of DVDs and CDs.
 
That would be perfect! I have a lot of DVD Rips on here!

Do you have any recommendations on a Media Player?
