If you can get past the yucky green color then you could grab yourself a bargain laptop for just £115!

Laptop Specs said:

Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium
RAM 6GB DDR3
Screen size 15.6"
Hard drive 640 GB
Optical disk drive DVD RW
Memory card reader Yes
USB 3
FireWire 1

On the one hand the price quoted could be an error on the part of PC World and on the other hand it could be a right bargain!

Would be interesting to know if anyone gets one of these laptops for the £115 being quoted.

Not available for home delivery or collection, so in other words, not available at all. Could it possibly be a ruse to get people looking at their site and maybe picking another laptop instead

Their website has let me order one at £115 with free shipping. I have the confirmation on screen, though not via e-mail yet....

For the price I can forgive the putrid green colour, so I'll let you know if it arrives or if I get a fob-off as to why they can't honour the order.

I'm guessing the worst that could happen is they claim it was a mistake and fail to honour the order. As long as there is no problem over them debiting my account I have nothing to lose.

Thought I'd give their customer services a cheeky ring to see if I could buy one over the phone. The usual story - the link must be old, they are no longer in stock, can't say if any were actually sold at the £115 price blah blah blah.....:bang:

Im on my way there now to quiz them.

Well, I have the order acknowledgement e-mail from PC World, but it only says that they are processing the order, not that it is confirmed or anything more positive.

I've just tried ordering a second one online and the above posts are correct: when clicking to go to the checkout I was dumped back at the PC World homepage.

Will keep you informed......

Just to bring this one up to date:

I've received an order confirmation e-mail from PC World telling me that the laptop has been shipped, giving me a tracking number for the courier.

Unfortunatley the courier is Yodel so now my most immediate worry now is whether Yodel will deliver.......

Yodel are rubbish, they lost my item, took me two weeks to get a refund.

Well, the laptop has arrived! Although green would not be my first choice of colour for a laptop it's not quite as bad in real life as I feared.

Build quality is acceptable, I've seen more solid laptops but they did cost a lot more, of course. I'd say given the spec it would be about right for a £350 - £370 laptop. Of course, for £115 I'll be delighted as long as it proves reliable.

Thanks to the original OP for the heads up.

They've corrected the price to £349 now!
