First of all welcome to the f&c section.

Secondly Silverprint have some colour 127 Silverprint 127

failing that it may need a purchase from abroad http://www.frugalphotographer.com/

I haven't checked prices but it might be worth doing a group purchase.

Yep it can be bought I believe some companies are converting 120 film to 127 size by cutting it down and respooling I think Efke were doing that but they stopped doing it. I guess silverprint may be doing that and thats the price.

Hi Em,

I got a little distracted after I moved your thread and was a bit slow at posting to explain why I'd put it into film & conventional for you.

Honestly, these guys really know their film stuff in here.
I see that Nick's already welcomed you aboard and pointed you in the right direction and if he and the others in here can't get you sorted out with what you need, nobody can :)

some camera's can take 35mm with some slight alteration, then you got to figure out the spacing or how much to wind on

Which Brownie version is it Paul?

They can offer a half decent result although often the edges of the frame can be on the soft side.....centres are usually pretty sharp though.

Welcome to TP Em

As already mentioned, there are lots of folk on here who can offer help/advice/tutorials.

As for confidence, play around, don't be frightended to ask questions if you're unsure...it's the only way to learn!

127 film is available as has been said but other film can be used with modifications that are less daunting than what they may appear although a little patience and some time is required.
