After finally getting hold of my very first rangefinder yesterday at a car boot, a Minolta Autopak 700. I did not realise that the 126 film is so hard to come by.

So if any of you actually still use 126 please could you tell me where you get it from as I cant find any :( I have been looking online all day!

I've seen them go for 20 or 30 quid each on ebay recently.... Good luck!

Bloody ell. The camera only cost me a fiver...

I might just keep it as a collectable then haha

Yeah, I picked up a few Kodak Instamatics out of nostalgia recently. Luckily they only cost me 2 quid as I won't be putting any test film through them... they look cute on the shelf though!
 
Looks like I will be getting up at 7am every Sunday morning now and dragging the missus to the car boot sales in search of film.

From wikipedia ...

Ferrania[3] in Italy, was the last factory making 126 film. Their product was an ISO 200 colour print film marketed under their Solaris brand. The last scheduled production run took place in April 2007, but an unscheduled production run in late 2007 surprised industry observers and raised hopes that it had not actually been discontinued.[4] As of March 2009, Ferrania customer service states that they are producing only 135 format color film in 200 and 400 ASA.

Adocolor 126, which was until recently available in Europe and was sometimes imported by North American resellers, was manufactured for the German Adox company by Ferrania.[5] Ferrania and Adox are currently in negotiations to transfer the relevant production moulds etc. to Adox so production can start again. Adox is hoping to release it in January 2012.

It was actually me that wrote that on Wikipedia! Sadly once again Adox have delayed it - now saying it will be at least the end of 2012 before its released. It doesn't say about 126 film on the their English wensite, but it does on their German one (I'll post the link later as their site seems to be down at the moment)

Personally I am waiting for their much anticipated Adox Pan 400 (and Adox Pan 100), especially as their being released in 110 as well so I can use them in my tiny Pentax Auto 110 SLR! Sadly once again they keep being delayed...
