Im wanyting to scan quite a few of my old 120 negs ...

Ive seen that Epson do a PERFECTION V500 scanner ...

Has anyone tried it with 120 negs and if so what sort of results did you get ?

Or is there a better scanner out there for similar money ?

I use the V500 with 120 (6x6, 6x7 and 6x9) and I find it does the job well enough for my needs. Like anything in life, it does take some practice to get the best results. There are several threads on scanning in this section, the V500 crops up in many of them, and there are a lot of nuggets of information spread across these threads. It's well worth a search and a good read through.
 
I have the 4490 which is the predecessor to the V500.

Does a nice job. Takes a while though.

Might be worth paying a lab to do it.
 
I use a V500. One just sold on here for £80 second hand. Worth while if you're scanning a few
