12 Spitfires? Single prop old planes heading northwards up the A10

Teehee hee! Heard a rumble and thought it was the usual Chinook, but it got louder! Watched them from office window and didnt have enough time to get to the car and cameras!

ARGH! WHEN WILL I LEARN - KEEP EM IN MY POCKETS!!! :bang:

Eek! Ok maybe not spitfires but old and single propped. Will wait for our resident pilot to get back to this building to hopefully find out what they were.

Oh and for all you talk haters - I now have the camera on the windowsill at work awaiting their return (hopefully!).

 Mark.

Indeed it doesnt. I was at least expecting 17 posts containing the offending aircraft as they make their way northwards chased by the TP Paparazzi gang!

Yes, performing the "wheel of death" over the A10.

I did hear there was a massive holdup on the A10 - that'll be several hundred burnt out cars then

Za Rodinu!

I would like to add the following to this thread:

Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeooooooooow!

Dakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakkadakka!

"Roger that, Smithy! Cabbage crates over the briny! Fall out!"

Jesus Christ. Sorry my pseudo WWII RAF banter isn't 100% accurate.

I included it to make the feeling of running about being 10 years old more genuine.

Why would Japanese and Russian pilots be speaking English?
