I quite fancy one of those little Pentax 110's but there is no point if I can't get any film for it. I know the Lomography shop sells some. Can you get it anywhere else?

There's quite a few on feebay last time I looked (weekend) all expired of course, but yer pays yer money...
Never seen any elsewhere.

I fancied one myself @Asha let me play with his. but computer says no.

There is another company that makes the film but its based in Japan and seems a bit difficult to get hold of in this country, I just use the lomography stuff.

Now, if they would make a [heresy]digital[/heresy] version, I would have one but the dearth of film available (as well as the scanning problems with 110), I'm almost glad I resisted the temptation of a complete kit I spotted when a retailer was closing down. Can't remember the price or what the kit comprised of but there were several lenses, a motor drive and a few other odds'n'sods in the box. Not expensive IIRC but at the time I couldn't afford it, having just got back into "real" photography rather than happy snapping. Still got the body (F65) that got me back into the hobby as well as the F80 that was the upgrade. Luckily, the fact that I kept using the bodies for wide angles meant that even when I went d!9!#@l, I stuck with FF lenses, reducing the outlay when I upgraded the DSLR (which caused the semi retirement of the F bodies).

IIRC, the idea of a miniature digital SLR system was poopooed but the Minox M3 model/replica shows that such a thing would be possible and the baby Pentax SLR shows that an MF system can also be done on a small scale.

The Lomo B&W film is alright - I home developed a roll of it and it's perfectly serviceable. It's difficult getting good scans out of it because the negative is absolutely miniscule, but Lomography did what no other manufacturer provided; a roll of fresh film for my Pentax 110.

What did you develop you film in? The reason I ask is that it's just reminded me that I have a Minox B and a roll of Minopan 100 which is Agfapan 100. These negs are about half the size of 110 I think. I've never used the Minox and am wondering how it would turn out in ID-11. (I'm not going to fork out for the special developer that they recommend.)

Has anyone tried the Lomography Colour Tiger 110? I'm just wondering what film it is that they've re-packaged, come to think of it though theres not that many in the ISO 200 range (ignoring close professional emulsions like Portra 160 as they would be too expensive to cut down and repackage):

- Kodak Gold 200 (unlikely in my opinion as it would probably be too costly)
-Kodak Colour Plus 200 (likely)
-Fuji Superia 200 (unlikely as most comments I've seen have said its more grainy than the older 110 Superia 200)
-Fuji C200 (very likely [also sold as Agfa Vista Plus 200])
-Agfa Aviphot Color X400 PE1 (cut down and sold by Rollei as Agfa CN200 [probably downrated as its somewhat grainy even at 200] - unlikely as that film has no orange mask and all the Lomography 110 colour pictures I have seen have an orange mask)

Therefore I would say its likely Kodak Colour Plus 200 or Fuji C200, but don't know if anyone has any other opinions? I do actually have one final cartridge of the last Superia 200 110 production thats been frozen continually (except for a few months) from production (according to where I brought it from) so after I've finally shot that it'll be interesting to see what the Lomo is like.

I developed it in Rodinal, 1+50 - I used about 175mL of solution in total (so 3.5mL of Rodinal). I was going to use T-Max Dev, my normal developer, but since it was such a small solution I thought I'd use Rodinal instead.
