Hi guys,

I just found a very old Kodak Ektralite 10 camera at home and it still works.
Does anyone knows where I can get 110 film roles from, I would like to start using it again.

Many thanks for your help,

Kardo

unless it's for sentimental reason's i'd not bother to be honest. Fuji were the last manufacturer still producing stock, and stopped making it in 2009. The stuff available on fleabay is all out of date, and considering you'll be paying a premium over 35mm for processing and have to send it away to boot, it's not really a go-er. I did look into this a week or so ago, as I noticed lots of Pentax 110 slr's coming up on the bay, at silly low money. Then I realised why

I know what you mean, I only like to try it one more time before I put it on the shelf, or bin, for ever :)

Oh - if it's for a one-off, grab a cartridge of film from ebay, shoot it, and enjoy. IIRC, Boots do a process and print service (although it's probably a send away to the only 110 capable machine they still have running).

I'd hate to put anyone off shooting film - though if it's going to be a regular thing, 35mm (BnW - home developed for the obsessives like me  )is probably the way to go

Thanks for the advise, as I said its just for the one off, I usually shoot 35mm and 120 films which are much easier to get and develop.

If you get a few expired 110 Kodak film cartridges you could reload it with 16mm film like it says here:

http://www.subclub.org/darkroom/roll110.htm

Or you could get a film splitter and cut down 35mm or 120 film to 16mm. (The only way to get B&W or slide) The only problem you may have is that not all 110 cameras will accept reloaded film as they need the perforations on the edge to wind it on. There are ways around it though.

One other thing to be careful of is the film speed tab - on Kodak film its 400 ISO but the tab reads as 100 ISO, so you have to remove the tab to get it to sense properly. There are plenty of guides on the internet on how to do this.
Not every 110 camera reads the tab as the same ISO though so you will have to research what that camera senses it as.

Hope that helps

EDIT: this place here does 110 processing by mail order.
