I've just seen hitech are doing the slot in 10 stopper filter link

Anyone used one would there be a problem with light leakage ?

cheers

Yup, used it and got some light leaking in, I' m afraid it wasn't that good as opposed to the rest of their filters.

I am sure, if you wanted to, you could find a cheap and easy way to seal the frame around the filter-holder & lens, but I just went and bought the B+W 10 stop ND.

Thanks for that

I think I shall purchase a B+W screw in type :)

That's a safer bet.

Don't forget that you will also get light leaking in from the eyepiece of your viewfinder; so, remember to use that little black plastic thingi that came with your camera's body

problem with the screw in type you have to keep unscrewing the thing to focus and compose the shot. then put it back on again. slot type r much easier to work with.

That was what I was thinking compose shot with grad filter fitted and then slide the 10 stopper in, I can see it being a pita compose remove filter and holder fit 10 stopper and refit holder and filter I can see me getting the filter in the wrong place too low or high lol

I struggle getting my grads correct as it is :)
